Do you think we have a good English level?

   Yes. I know that is very difficult to speak in English when it isn’t your language, but I think Spanish people have a good level.

Do you want to have somebody else at home?

   Why not. I think it has been a good experience for all family.

What do you think abot the exchange program?

   I think it is a very interesting thing to do; we all get to make new friends, learn a new culture, practice the new language…

Do you think that the English level of the spanish students is good?

   Yes, they were. I was surprised of how much they knew and undertood. I’m an inmigrant and I came here from Brazil 4 years ago, and before I came, I had taken English classes in my whole life and I didn’t know not even a quarter of what they know now.

Many people think that Spanish people are cold people. What do you think?

   N0t at all: I got alone with my friend Fatima really well, and so with the others.

Here, people spend a lot of time in front of the TV watching shows. Last Monday, I watched a TV programm like CSI, but it were real crimes and they explained how they could resolve it. It was very interesting.

On Thursday 25, it has been at school a soccer match. All Spanish people were there, but I couldn’t go because I had to buy something to the long trip, that we are going to do on Friday.

Here, all people loves sports: football, basketball, swimming, soccer… At school, has been few competitions during this days. In some of them, we have won, but in others we have lost. But the game is like that, sometimes you win and others you have to lose.

It was an ordinary day, but all Spanish were a little sad, because on Friday we came back to Spain. I want to go to Spain because I miss my family and friends; but here I have had a good time with Mabell and her family, friends, in the travels to visit some places… It has been realy good days that I will never forget.

That day we went to Boston again. When we arrived, a leader with old costums, showed us the city. We stayed in the New Townhall and then, we had lunch and bought something. It was a rainy day. Boston is a beautiful city. We came back to Milford at 5:00.

That day, was a normal day, we didn’t do anything special like other days. After school, I went shopping with Mabell. I bought many things.

Last Friday, all spanish students went to different schools. I stayed with Alfredo and Victor in Memorial’s school, where the mum of Mike works. This school, is for childrens from 4 to 9 years old. It was fun singing songs with them. We returned to school at 11:00 and I stayed in Arts and English classes. After school Ines came to my house and she stayed there till after dinner.
